Speech Language Pathologist in Newark, MD

Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology required
- Active and valid SLP-CCC certification
- Eligible for state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Recent experience in a school-based or pediatric environment preferred
- Strong interpersonal and organization skills for managing an elementary caseload
- Commitment to evidence-based interventions and inclusive educational practices
What You’ll Do:
- Assess and diagnose speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders in students
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans addressing IEP goals
- Conduct therapy sessions, both one-on-one and in small groups, tailored to students’ needs
- Document progress, participate in IEP meetings, and maintain ongoing communication with teachers and parents
- Employ creative and engaging strategies to foster student participation and progress
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary educational teams to foster student success
