With a manageable caseload of 40-50 students, you'll have the support to deliver focused, high-quality interventions.
What You’ll Need:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Active SLP - CCC certification (ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence)
- Experience working in school settings, preferably with elementary populations
- Familiarity with IEP processes, report writing, and progress documentation
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Adaptability and enthusiasm for working in diverse educational environments
Role Highlights:
- Deliver speech, language, and communication assessments and therapy sessions directly to students in person
- Develop and implement IEPs, documenting progress and adjusting interventions as needed
- Work closely with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support each child’s growth
- Facilitate group and individual sessions tailored to student needs
- Maintain accurate records and comply with district and state regulations
- Foster student progress in speech and language development for enhanced classroom participation
