A school-based Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) is needed to support students ranging from kindergarten through grade 12. This role primarily focuses on working with elementary school students (grades K-5) but includes opportunities across all K-12 grade levels. Position is based in Olympia, WA.
Responsibilities include:
- Conducting speech and language assessments for students
- Developing and implementing individualized therapy plans
- Collaborating with teachers, parents, and other educational professionals to support student communication goals
- Providing direct speech-language therapy services to students
- Monitoring and documenting student progress
Qualifications:
- Valid state licensure or certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Experience working with children in an educational environment, particularly in elementary grades
- Strong knowledge of speech and language development and disorders
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with school staff and families
