Qualifications and Experience:
- Active Pennsylvania SLP certification required
- Pennsylvania teaching certification (Instructional I or II)
- Experience working with school-aged children in a K-12 setting preferred
- Strong assessment, intervention, and documentation skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Commitment to fostering inclusive, student-centered learning environments
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver evidence-based speech and language therapy to K-12 students in individual and group settings
- Complete comprehensive assessments and develop individualized treatment plans
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to implement effective therapy strategies
- Maintain accurate progress notes and contribute to Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Engage in IEP meetings and participate in multidisciplinary team discussions
- Provide guidance to staff and families on supporting communication needs in the classroom and at home
- Stay current with state and district requirements and best practices in school-based speech therapy
