Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current or pending Louisiana Speech-Language Pathologist license
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred, but Clinical Fellows (CF) will be considered
- Previous experience in a school-based setting is a plus
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to independently manage a caseload and collaborate effectively with educators and families
- Dedication to fostering student success within diverse populations
Role Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive onsite speech-language therapy, including assessment, intervention, and progress monitoring for students in need
- Develop individualized treatment plans and document all services in accordance with school and state protocols
- Collaborate closely with teachers, special education staff, and parents to support students’ educational and functional outcomes
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute expertise to multidisciplinary teams
- Maintain accurate records and compliance documentation
