Leverage your expertise in Speech-Language Pathology to impact learners at Schaumberg Elementary, managing a caseload of 50–60 students. Both experienced SLPs (CCC) and Clinical Fellows are encouraged to apply and contribute to the educational team during this essential coverage period.
Qualifications:
- Hold or be eligible for Louisiana SLP licensure
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology or open to Clinical Fellows (CF)
- Previous school-based SLP experience is highly valued
- Strong commitment to providing therapy in an onsite, school setting
- Excellent communication, organization, and time-management abilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide speech and language services to elementary students, addressing IEP goals
- Conduct assessments, deliver direct therapy, and track student progress
- Collaborate with teachers, administration, and families to develop student-centered intervention plans
- Complete required documentation and maintain accurate records
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute expertise to the wider support team
