Speech Language Pathologist in New Orleans, LA

Qualifications and Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology is required
- Current ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or eligibility; recent Clinical Fellows are welcome
- Valid Louisiana state licensure or eligibility to obtain quickly
- Prior experience working in a school setting and with pediatric caseloads is preferred
- Strong communication, organization, and documentation skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, families, and students
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech-language therapy services to a caseload of 50-60 elementary students
- Evaluate students, develop and implement IEPs, and maintain required documentation
- Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to facilitate student progress
- Conduct assessments, write reports, and contribute to multidisciplinary meetings
- Deliver engaging, individualized therapy sessions that foster growth and confidence
