You'll work directly with a small caseload of three students over the course of the 2026-2027 school year, providing essential services and collaborating with educational staff and families.
Key Qualifications:
- Active New Hampshire Speech-Language Pathology license required
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) strongly preferred
- Demonstrated experience supporting students with selective mutism
- Proficiency in conducting assessments, developing IEPs, and implementing evidence-based interventions for school-aged children
- Ability to complete administrative documentation and actively participate in school or multidisciplinary team meetings
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with staff and families
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct and consultative speech-language therapy services to a caseload of three students, approximately 6 hours of direct service and additional time for documentation and meetings
- Assess, plan, and implement personalized therapy aligned with IEP goals, focusing on selective mutism and other communication challenges
- Maintain accurate and timely records, progress reports, and required compliance documentation
- Participate in and contribute to team meetings, collaborating with educators, administrators, and parents to support student success
- Provide recommendations and training to staff when needed
The role involves working one 8-hour day per week, offering a professional balance and the ability to make a significant difference for students. This assignment starts as soon as possible and runs through June 21, 2027.
