What You’ll Bring:
- Valid or eligible Virginia SLP license
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred; individuals completing Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) are welcome to apply
- Skills in school-based speech-language therapy, or an eagerness to build this expertise
- Ability to collaborate closely with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Dedication to fostering every student’s communication potential
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech-language evaluations and direct therapy for a mixed K–12 caseload
- Develop, implement, and monitor IEPs in alignment with best practices and district guidelines
- Communicate progress and recommendations with teachers, families, and support staff
- Contribute to a positive, inclusive school culture through proactive teamwork
- Maintain thorough documentation and ensure compliance with all requirements
