Pediatric Speech Language Pathologist in New Haven, CT

As a key team member, you’ll work on-site in a welcoming school environment, collaborating with educators and families to support diverse student needs. The assignment runs from ASAP through the end of the school year (EOSY), with the flexibility to send a Clinical Fellow (CFY) to further enhance professional development.
Key Experience and Qualifications:
- Active 061 education certification required
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Valid state licensure for SLP or eligibility for Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
- Experience with pediatric populations, preferably in a school setting
- Comfortable providing speech and language services, including therapy and assessments
- Familiarity with teletherapy platforms is a plus
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct speech and language services to elementary-aged students at a single site
- Conduct screenings, evaluations, and write IEP goals as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families for comprehensive care
- Document progress and maintain compliance records according to district guidelines
- Provide consultative support or recommendations based on student needs
