Qualifications & Skills:
- Active 061 Connecticut education certification required
- Valid SLP licensure; open to both CCC-SLP and Clinical Fellow (CFY) applicants
- Experience working with pediatric and elementary student populations preferred
- Proficient in school-based therapy practices, speech and language intervention, and IEP development
- Teletherapy experience a bonus, but not required
- Strong organization, communication, and teamwork abilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct speech-language therapy services to elementary-aged students in group and individual sessions
- Conduct assessments, document progress, and contribute to multidisciplinary evaluations
- Develop and update Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) in collaboration with educators and families
- Maintain timely and accurate clinical documentation
- Participate in IEP meetings and consult with staff on communication strategies
- Foster a positive, inclusive learning environment and advocate for student needs
