Key qualifications and experience sought:
- Active 061 education certification is required
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Hold (or be eligible for) SLP-CCC or Clinical Fellow (CFY) status
- Experience or strong interest in pediatric and school-based speech services
- Proficiency in teletherapy is a plus, though on-site presence is required
- SLPA candidates with school experience will be considered
- Dedication to fostering communication and language development in young learners
In this role, you will:
- Serve a single elementary campus, supporting a diverse group of students
- Assess, diagnose, and develop individualized treatment plans for speech, language, and communication challenges
- Collaborate with other educators and support staff to provide high-quality, integrated student support
- Monitor student progress, maintain records, and participate in IEP meetings
- Engage families and caregivers, sharing strategies and resources to bolster student growth
- Enjoy the support needed for those working toward full certification (CF supervision provided)
