School Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) | New Haven, Connecticut

Qualifications and Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Active SLP license for the state of Connecticut
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred
- School-based experience or clinical background working with children, especially in early childhood and elementary settings
- Strong collaboration and communication skills
- Experience with IEP development and familiarity with school-based documentation
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech-language therapy services two days per week from 8:15am–3:30pm, working primarily with high-functioning Pre-K and elementary students
- Share caseload responsibilities, ensuring students seen for multiple sessions per week get equitable access to both SLPs
- Coordinate with the full-time SLP for therapy planning, evaluations, and team meetings
- Conduct assessments and contribute to planning and placement team (PPT) meetings
- Maintain clear documentation and collaborate with teachers and support staff to enhance student outcomes
