Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) - Nashua, NH
Step into an engaging educational setting as a full-time Speech-Language Pathologist, where your expertise will support middle school students' communication growth. This contract position spans the 2026-2027 school year, offering the opportunity to collaborate closely with educators and families to foster student success. You'll work five days per week, seven hours per day, with an average caseload of 21 students.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current SLP license or eligibility for licensure in New Hampshire
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred
- Previous experience in a middle school or educational environment is valued
- Solid understanding of speech, language, and communication disorders among adolescents
- Ability to communicate effectively with students, staff, and parents
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech and language therapy services to students, individually and in groups
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
- Collaborate with teachers and special education staff to support classroom integration
- Maintain accurate records and progress notes, adhering to all state and federal guidelines
- Engage parents and caregivers in the therapy process through regular updates and resources
- Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions
