Qualifications and Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Active and valid SLP license or eligibility to obtain one
- Prior experience in a school or pediatric setting highly valued
- Strong organizational skills for managing IEPs and caseload documentation
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with students, staff, and families
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct speech-language therapy to middle school students in individual and group settings
- Develop, implement, and regularly update IEPs for assigned students
- Collaborate with teachers, counselors, and other support staff to foster student development
- Conduct evaluations and assessments to determine students’ needs and progress
- Maintain detailed records and progress reports in compliance with policy requirements
- Offer guidance and education for families regarding their child’s speech and language needs
