Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) in Newport, NH

Bring your expertise as you conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations, participate in the IEP team process, and help shape student outcomes. The part-time role involves direct supervision of up to two SLPAs, with responsibilities that include oversight, conducting 30-day paraeducator reviews related to Medicaid-reimbursable services, and providing targeted speech services within a flexible monthly schedule.
What You’ll Do:
- Lead and administer speech and language evaluations for students
- Supervise Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs) in compliance with state regulations
- Review and support paraeducators whose roles include Medicaid-reimbursable therapy services
- Deliver direct and consultative speech and language support as needed
- Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams, families, and educators
What You’ll Bring:
- Active Speech-Language Pathologist license for New Hampshire
- Credentialed for school-based SLP services and SLPA supervision
- Proven experience with speech-language evaluations, educational IEPs, and supervision of clinical assistants
