Two full-time openings are available—one beginning in late October or early November and concluding December 18, 2026, primarily serving both a middle school and an elementary population. The second position starts in December and goes through May 2027, focusing on high school students. Both roles provide rich, varied caseloads and the rewarding challenge of guiding students through essential stages of their academic journey.
Qualifications:
- Active Illinois Speech-Language Pathology license required
- Professional Educator License (PEL) or eligibility to obtain
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) strongly preferred
- Open to strong Clinical Fellows (CFs)
- School-based experience or familiarity with IEP process is advantageous
- Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and engage with students, families, and staff
Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct and indirect speech-language services to assigned students
- Conduct assessments, develop individualized goals, and monitor progress
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary planning
- Maintain timely and thorough documentation in accordance with school/district policies
- Provide consultation and support for classroom staff and families
