Your expertise will be vital in two different assignments: The first leave begins in late October or early November, extending through December 18, 2026, with responsibilities spanning one middle and one elementary school. The second leave starts in December and continues through May 2027, working with high school students. Both positions are full-time, offering a chance to positively impact students’ communication abilities within differing school environments.

Qualifications:

  • Current Illinois licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
  • PEL (Professional Educator License) required
  • SLP-CCC highly preferred; strong SLP-CFs are welcome for consideration
  • Experience or comfort working with school-aged populations (elementary, middle, or high school)
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate flexibly with multidisciplinary teams

Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct speech and language therapy services to assigned caseload
  • Conduct evaluations and develop individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Maintain thorough and timely documentation for student progress
  • Collaborate closely with staff, parents, and community partners
  • Adapt services to meet the unique needs of students at different grade levels
