School-Based Speech Language Pathologist - Naperville, Illinois
Exciting opportunities are available for Speech-Language Pathologists (SLP) to provide crucial coverage during two maternity leaves in dynamic school settings. These full-time contract positions offer an engaging environment working with diverse student populations and collaborating with dedicated teams of educators.
The first leave begins in late October or early November and runs through December 18, 2026. In this role, you’ll support students in both a middle school and an elementary school, helping them develop essential communication and language skills. The second maternity leave starts in December and continues through May 2027, focusing on providing care for high school students.
What you’ll contribute:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology required
- Active Illinois SLP license and PEL (Professional Educator License)
- Clinical Competence Certificate (CCC) preferred, but strong SLP Clinical Fellows (CF) encouraged to apply
- Prior experience in school-based settings highly valued
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to collaborate with teachers, staff, and families
- Flexibility and adaptability to support multiple age groups or school environments
In these roles, your daily impact may include:
- Conducting speech and language assessments and developing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Delivering direct therapy services tailored to students’ needs
- Consulting with teachers and staff to support student success
- Keeping accurate documentation in compliance with school and state requirements
