School Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) | Myrtle Creek, Oregon
Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting elementary-aged students as a Speech-Language Pathologist in a vibrant school setting. This position starts August 17, 2026, and runs through June 11, 2027. With a 40-hour work week, you’ll work closely with a caseload of approximately 50 students, making a meaningful impact during the crucial school years.
Three openings are available, and talented clinical fellows are encouraged to apply—dedicated supervision and mentorship will be provided.
Desired Qualifications and Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Oregon state licensure (or eligibility to obtain prior to start date)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred, but Clinical Fellows are welcome
- Knowledge of evaluation, diagnosis, and intervention for diverse speech, language, and communication needs in an elementary population
- Strong collaboration and communication skills for working with teachers, staff, and families
- Organizational skills to manage documentation and caseload efficiently
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech, language, and communication assessments
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on IEPs
- Provide direct and consultative services to elementary students with varied communication needs
- Collaborate with teachers and related service providers to support student success
- Maintain accurate records and participate in IEP meetings
- Possess a commitment to evidence-based practice and ongoing professional development
