As part of a dedicated team, you’ll work closely with teachers, families, and support staff to deliver tailored interventions and help students achieve their communication milestones. The ideal candidate is confident collaborating in educational settings and passionate about assisting children at all grade levels.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Current Oklahoma SLP License (Required)
- Background in pediatrics and/or previous school-based experience preferred
- Skilled in providing therapy and evaluations for diverse K-12 student needs
- Strong communication and organization abilities
- Able to work effectively and compassionately within a multidisciplinary team
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess and treat a variety of speech, language, and communication challenges in K-12 students
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Collaborate with teachers, interventionists, and families to support student progress
- Maintain thorough documentation and compliance with all federal and state regulations
- Participate in IEP meetings and ongoing professional development
