Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) in Morton, MS

Qualifications and Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Active and current state SLP license
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred, CFY considered
- Prior experience in a school-based or pediatric setting is beneficial
- Strong communication, organizational, and time management skills
- Ability to create engaging, evidence-based therapy plans tailored to student needs
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders in K-12 students
- Develop individualized education plans (IEPs), monitor progress, and collaborate with IEP teams
- Provide direct therapy services and consultation for teachers and families
- Document and manage accurate therapy records in compliance with school and state regulations
- Participate in school meetings, parent conferences, and professional development opportunities as required
