Qualifications & Experience Sought:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution
- Valid state SLP licensure (or eligibility for licensure)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred; strong CFY candidates also considered
- Previous school-based or pediatric SLP experience is highly desirable
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
- Comfortable adapting to a collaborative, multi-disciplinary educational team
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess and diagnose speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders in students
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in accordance with school policies
- Deliver evidence-based direct and consultative therapy services
- Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and families to support student progress
- Maintain thorough documentation of assessments, interventions, and student outcomes
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of educational strategies
