Desired Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current SLP license (or eligibility) in North Carolina
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred but not required for eligible Clinical Fellows
- Prior experience in school settings with elementary, middle, and/or high school populations
- Comfortable providing both group and individualized therapy sessions (including 1:1 support)
- Strong organizational, communication, and documentation skills
- Ability to support students with diverse language, articulation, fluency, and social communication needs
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough speech, language, and communication assessments
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) in collaboration with educational teams
- Deliver engaging therapy sessions to assigned caseload, including 1:1 and small group interventions
- Monitor student progress, maintain accurate records, and contribute to parent/teacher meetings
- Collaborate closely with teachers, special educators, and administrators to ensure integrative student support
- Participate in IEP meetings and professional development as needed
