Key Qualifications:
- Active state SLP license and ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) required
- Previous experience working in school settings, especially with elementary, middle, or high school populations
- Skilled in developing and implementing IEPs tailored to students’ speech and language needs
- Comfortable providing both group and 1:1 therapy sessions
- Strong communication skills for collaborating with educators, parents, and support staff
- Knowledge of assistive technology and alternative communication devices is a plus
- Ability to adapt techniques to different age groups and learning environments
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver assessments and develop personalized speech and language intervention plans
- Conduct engaging therapy sessions in both 1:1 and small group formats within the school environment
- Drive progress monitoring, accurate documentation, and IEP compliance for assigned caseload
- Educate and consult with staff and families to support carryover of skills into everyday settings
- Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and contribute expertise to student support teams
- Stay current on best practices and attend relevant professional development as needed
