School Speech Language Pathologist - Pontiac, Illinois

Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Master’s degree from an accredited Speech-Language Pathology program
- Current Illinois SLP license (or ability to obtain prior to start)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred, CFs considered
- Prior experience working with school-age children in an educational setting
- Strong interpersonal and communication abilities
- Commitment to providing individualized, evidence-based therapy
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct, in-person speech and language therapy services to students according to IEP goals
- Assess, diagnose, and develop individualized treatment plans
- Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to ensure student success
- Document progress, maintain accurate records, and participate in IEP meetings
- Support the development of communication and social skills in students with a range of speech and language needs
- Stay up to date with best practices and continuing education for school-based SLPs
