Key Qualifications:
- Current, active North Carolina SLP license (required)
- SLP-CCC credential or eligibility as an SLP-CF accepted
- Experience or strong interest in providing services within a school setting
- Strong collaboration skills for working alongside educators, families, and support teams
- Commitment to onsite, in-person service delivery throughout the assignment
Primary Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders for elementary and middle school students
- Develop, implement, and track progress for Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
- Collaborate with teachers and special education staff to integrate SLP strategies into classroom curriculum
- Maintain effective and regular communication with families about student progress and goals
- Keep accurate records and complete required documentation for compliance with school and state guidelines
