Key Qualifications:
- Hold a current NC Speech-Language Pathology license (SLP-CF candidates considered)
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC) preferred, though Clinical Fellows are welcome
- Previous experience in school-based settings and comfort working with children from diverse backgrounds
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively with students, families, and multidisciplinary teams
Role Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct speech-language therapy services to elementary and middle school students per individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Conduct evaluations, develop and implement treatment plans, and maintain accurate documentation
- Collaborate actively with teachers, parents, and school staff to foster a supportive learning environment
- Participate in IEP meetings, providing input and progress updates
- Contribute to prevention and intervention services while promoting communication success for all students
This assignment runs from August 13, 2026, through May 28, 2027, with a consistent Monday–Friday schedule, 8:00 a.m.–3:30 p.m., totaling 37.5 hours per week. The district values professionals committed to positive student outcomes and a strong team dynamic.
