Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders
- Active SLP licensure in North Carolina (or eligibility to obtain)
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred
- Open to Clinical Fellows (CFY) looking to launch their careers
- Previous experience in schools or pediatric settings highly valued
- Strong communication, organization, and interpersonal skills
Daily Responsibilities:
- Provide direct intervention and therapy to students with communication and language needs
- Develop individualized education plans (IEPs) and document student progress
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated care
- Conduct screenings, evaluations, and re-assessments as required
- Support students in achieving their academic and personal goals
- Maintain accurate records in compliance with school and district policies
