This is a rewarding opportunity to work 35 hours per week in a supportive school environment near High Point, NC, helping learners achieve their full potential through effective speech and language intervention.
Required Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Current or eligible North Carolina SLP license
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or eligibility for Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
- Previous school-based experience with IEPs and caseload management is desirable
- Strong assessment, documentation, and communication skills
- Compassionate, collaborative, and adaptable approach in educational settings
Primary Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and provide direct therapy to students with speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders
- Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to support student goals
- Maintain precise records of student progress and intervention outcomes
- Participate in IEP meetings, multidisciplinary team discussions, and professional development
- Empower students to improve communication, social skills, and classroom participation
