School Speech Language Pathologist - Monument, CO
Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students’ communication and language development for the upcoming school year! This full-time position is ideal for experienced Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) interested in working on school-based assignments in a vibrant, collaborative educational setting.
You’ll split your work week between one or two campuses, which are conveniently located less than a mile apart—ensuring you can easily provide consistent support to your caseload. As a key team member, you will play an important role in fostering communication skills, developing IEPs, and working closely with educators, families, and other related service providers.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Active state SLP license and ASHA CCC (or eligibility for CFY, if applicable)
- Prior pediatric, school-based, or education setting experience preferred
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational abilities
- Ability to flex between campuses as needed
Role Responsibilities:
- Conduct evaluations and deliver direct/indirect therapy to students with diverse speech and language needs
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
- Collaborate with teachers, special educators, and parents to support student progress
- Document progress, comply with state and federal requirements, and participate in IEP meetings
- Serve campuses less than a mile apart, ensuring smooth transitions and continuity of care
