Responsibilities and duties:
- Conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and deliver individualized or group therapy to students with diverse speech and language needs.
- Collaborate regularly with teachers, intervention specialists, and families to provide holistic support.
- Participate in IEP meetings, documentation, and progress reporting in accordance with school standards.
- Adapt and innovate therapy activities to foster inclusive participation within the academic environment.
- Provide consultative guidance to educational teams regarding student accommodations and progress.
Desired qualifications and experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- Active and valid state licensure/certification for SLP.
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) strongly preferred.
- Previous experience within educational or school-based settings is a plus.
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.
- Ability to quickly adapt to new environments and manage a full caseload.
