Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Active Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP/ASHA Certification).
- Holds, or is eligible for, the Alabama State Board of Education Speech-Language Pathology certification (may begin with pending status).
- Experience in school-based speech-language therapy and evaluations is highly valued.
- Ability to adapt quickly across elementary and high school settings.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Commitment to professional best practices with a student-focused approach.
What You’ll Do:
- Deliver speech and language therapy for K-12 students across designated campuses.
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and contribute to IEP development.
- Serve as an integral part of multidisciplinary teams.
- Monitor, document, and report on student progress.
- Collaborate closely with teachers, families, and administrators to promote individualized student growth.
- Travel to assigned schools (no more than three locations).
