Qualifications & Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution
- Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
- Valid state SLP license (or eligibility to obtain one)
- Prior schools-based experience preferred, particularly with diverse populations
- Excellent communication, organizational, and documentation abilities
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate students to determine speech-language needs and develop individualized intervention plans
- Deliver direct therapy and consultative services to students with a variety of speech, language, and communication challenges
- Collaborate with educators, families, and other service providers to promote progress and positive outcomes
- Maintain accurate, timely records of assessments, goals, and ongoing services
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the creation of meaningful, measurable goals
- Support and educate staff and families regarding communication strategies and best practices
