You’ll play a key role in assessing, diagnosing, and providing therapeutic and consultative services for students with communication disorders. Collaboration is at the heart of this position, as you’ll work alongside teachers, families, administrators, and support staff to foster each student’s academic, emotional, and social growth in accordance with IDEA, Section 504, and other regulations. Multiple leaves are anticipated, and start/end dates will be determined. Flexible hours are available to meet both full-time and part-time needs.
Desired Qualifications:
- Minnesota licensure as an SLP; SLPAs are encouraged to apply
- Experience with school-based settings or teletherapy is a plus
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment
- Understanding of state and federal special education regulations
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate, diagnose, and develop individualized treatment plans for students with speech and language disorders
- Deliver therapy through traditional and/or teletherapy modalities as needed
- Consult with teaching teams, administrators, and families to promote student progress
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with school and legal guidelines
- Participate actively in IEP meetings and support ongoing caseload management
