School-Based Speech Language Pathologist | Eden Prairie, Minnesota
Embark on a rewarding contract position supporting students’ growth alongside a dynamic, student-centered team. Multiple opportunities exist for both full-time and part-time Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs), including teletherapy options and roles open to SLP Assistants (SLPAs). These roles serve schools in the Eden Prairie and Inver Grove Heights area, filling multiple leaves with exact dates to be determined.
Your day-to-day focus will be on students identified with communication disorders, delivering diagnostic, therapeutic, and consultative services aimed at boosting their academic, social, and emotional achievement. You’ll work in tandem with teachers, administrators, fellow clinicians, and families to ensure student success, always maintaining compliance with IDEA, Section 504, and relevant state and federal guidelines.
Desired qualifications:
- Current active Minnesota SLP license (open to SLPAs as well)
- Experience or strong interest in school-based, pediatric, or teletherapy settings
- Effective communication skills for collaboration with staff, students, and families
- Deep understanding of best practices in evaluation, intervention, and IEP implementation
- Proficiency in documentation and caseload management
Key responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech-language assessments
- Develop and implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions
- Maintain timely, detailed records and contribute to IEP meetings
- Consult with teachers, parents, and other staff regarding students’ needs and accommodations
- Deliver both direct and consultative services to a diverse caseload of students across various age groups
- Adapt interventions for in-person and teletherapy sessions as needed
