Take your expertise as a Speech-Language Pathologist to a dynamic Early Childhood Special Education setting, supporting students and collaborating with dedicated educators near Minneapolis, MN. This contract opportunity begins as soon as possible and continues through the 2026-2027 school year, with a manageable 0.8 FTE schedule, totaling 32 hours over four days each week.
Skills & Requirements:
- Current Minnesota SLP license and relevant professional certification required
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) strongly preferred
- Experience working within school settings, particularly with early childhood populations
- Comfort and skill in serving students with multiple disabilities
- Strong interpersonal communication and collaboration abilities
- Dedication to evidence-based practices and creative therapy delivery
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide speech and language assessments, therapy, and consultation for children in an ECSE environment
- Develop and implement IEPs tailored to individual student needs
- Collaborate with classroom teachers, special education professionals, and families
- Participate in eligibility meetings and multidisciplinary team processes
- Offer guidance and training to staff when appropriate
- Support a positive, inclusive learning culture that promotes student growth
