Desired Experience & Skills:
- Active Speech-Language Pathology license, with eligibility for Minnesota
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or current Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates welcomed
- Experience with pediatric or school-aged populations, preferably in educational environments
- Proficiency in developing and implementing individualized education plans (IEPs) and conducting assessments
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and collaborative skills, working effectively with educators, families, and students
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct evaluations and develop therapy plans for students in kindergarten through 8th grade
- Provide direct speech-language therapy, both one-on-one and in small groups, addressing diverse needs
- Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams, providing input for IEP meetings and student progress updates
- Maintain thorough documentation of evaluations, treatment plans, and student progress
- Consult with teachers and caregivers to integrate effective strategies in classroom and home environments
