Pediatric School Speech Pathology | Minneapolis, Minnesota
Make a meaningful impact working with K-8 students by providing speech and language services in a school-based setting. This contract opportunity allows you to apply and grow your Speech-Language Pathology expertise while maintaining a flexible two-day-per-week schedule (15 hours weekly). You'll foster communication skills and support student success alongside a dedicated educational team.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Active or eligible Speech-Language Pathology (SLP) license
- CCCs preferred; open to Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates
- Experience delivering therapy to pediatric/school-aged populations (K-8 preferred)
- Strong knowledge of IEP process and documentation
- Skill in collaborating with educators, staff, and families
- Ability to adapt therapy approaches for a range of student needs
Role Responsibilities:
- Provide direct and indirect speech-language therapy to K-8 students
- Administer assessments, interpret results, and determine student needs
- Develop and implement IEP goals, maintaining accurate records
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize student outcomes
- Offer consultation and support to teachers and parents
- Track progress and adjust interventions as needed for individual growth
