Key Qualifications:
- Must hold, or be eligible for, Delaware state licensure as an SLP or CFY
- Prior experience working with moderate to severe student populations is a plus
- Skilled in both early intervention and supporting a range of developmental needs
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities
- Able to collaborate effectively with educators, administrators, and families
- Solutions-focused, adaptable, and eager to contribute to a dynamic multidisciplinary team
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech-language therapy for students, spanning assistive technology, augmentative communication, social skills, articulation, voice, and oral-motor/feeding concerns
- Conduct comprehensive diagnostic and evaluation testing as required
- Prepare clear, thorough, and insightful assessment and observation reports
- Develop and maintain individualized education program (IEP) objectives tailored to student needs
- Collaborate with stakeholders—including families and school staff—to monitor progress and provide guidance for continued student development
- Respond adeptly to challenges, adapting strategies to support students’ unique needs
