You will work across one or more campuses with a diverse range of caseloads and age groups. SLPA support and onsite facilitators are available, offering collaboration and additional resources as you provide therapy and foster student growth.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Active Virginia SLP License
- Experience in a school-based setting preferred, but open to new graduates with strong clinical skills
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational abilities
- Adaptability to serve a range of student ages and needs
What You’ll Do:
- Deliver direct speech and language therapy to students, supporting IEP goals
- Conduct evaluations and create treatment plans personalized to each student
- Collaborate with teachers, facilitators, and other school team members to support student progress
- Maintain accurate student records in compliance with district and state requirements
- Engage with families and staff to enhance student communication success
