Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree or higher in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
- Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) or eligibility for or completion of Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY).
- Valid state licensure for speech-language pathology.
- Background in pediatric SLP practice, especially in educational or healthcare environments.
- Strong interpersonal skills and a genuine passion for supporting children with varying speech and language abilities.
- Experience or enthusiasm for collaborating within multidisciplinary school-based teams.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations for students referred for speech and language concerns.
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans addressing speech, language, and communication needs in line with IEP goals.
- Deliver both direct and consultative speech-language therapy in accordance with school requirements.
- Collaborate closely with teachers, families, and other school professionals to ensure well-coordinated student care and progress.
- Maintain detailed and organized documentation of evaluations, therapy notes, and student progress.
- Participate in IEP meetings, providing expertise and recommendations for effective student support.
