Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) Remote - Alaska
A contract opportunity is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist specializing in telespeech services, supporting students in a remote educational setting. This fully remote position allows for the delivery of comprehensive speech therapy services through a virtual platform designed to enhance assessment and intervention processes.
Responsibilities include conducting speech and language evaluations, developing individualized treatment plans, and providing therapy sessions via telepractice. The role requires consistent documentation and progress monitoring to ensure alignment with educational goals and compliance with regulations. Collaboration with educators and families will be conducted virtually to support student success.
Qualifications and experience desired:
- Valid Speech-Language Pathology license for the relevant state or ability to obtain one
- Experience providing speech therapy services, preferably through telehealth platforms
- Strong skills in virtual communication and familiarity with telepractice technology
- Ability to assess and treat various speech and language disorders remotely
- Effective time management and organizational abilities to manage caseload virtually
