Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) - New Castle, DE

You’ll have the chance to indicate your preferred age range, working either with preschool to early elementary students, or upper elementary through middle school. A robust support system is in place, and you’ll be fully integrated into the school community, including participating alongside staff in professional development opportunities. Candidates should be comfortable providing hands-on support and be able to lift up to 50 pounds with assistance, given the unique needs of the caseload.
Key Qualifications:
- Master’s in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC or CFY candidates welcome)
- Eligible for state licensure in Delaware
- Experience or interest in working with moderate to severe student populations
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds with assistance
- Collaborative spirit and flexible approach; willingness to work onsite only
- Openness to full time roles for the school year, with potential for ESY
What You’ll Do:
- Provide direct therapy, evaluations, and support for a school-based K–8 caseload
- Collaborate closely with teachers, families, and support staff
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to IEP development
- Engage in ongoing professional development with school personnel
