School Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) | Middle River, Maryland

Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Active SLP license for the state
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) required
- Previous experience in school-based settings highly preferred
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational abilities
- Strong understanding of IEP development, progress monitoring, and documentation processes
- Commitment to promoting equity and inclusion through individualized support
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments for students referred for services
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans addressing each student’s unique needs
- Deliver direct, group, or consultative SLP services onsite as outlined in IEPs
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure cohesive support for each student
- Maintain clear and accurate documentation, progress notes, and reporting compliant with school and regulatory requirements
- Engage actively in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of goals and progress reports
- Participate in ongoing professional development relevant to school-based speech-language pathology
