Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Active SLP license for the state
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) required
  • Previous experience in school-based settings highly preferred
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational abilities
  • Strong understanding of IEP development, progress monitoring, and documentation processes
  • Commitment to promoting equity and inclusion through individualized support

Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments for students referred for services
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans addressing each student’s unique needs
  • Deliver direct, group, or consultative SLP services onsite as outlined in IEPs
  • Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure cohesive support for each student
  • Maintain clear and accurate documentation, progress notes, and reporting compliant with school and regulatory requirements
  • Engage actively in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of goals and progress reports
  • Participate in ongoing professional development relevant to school-based speech-language pathology
