School Speech Language Pathologist - Elkton, Maryland

The schedule provides structure and predictability: elementary hours run from 8:15 am to 3:45 pm, while secondary positions follow a 7:30 am to 3:00 pm duty day. The caseload consists of approximately 55 student contacts per week, allowing you to make a meaningful difference while maintaining effective service delivery.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Active state licensure as an SLP
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred; clinical fellows considered
- Previous pediatric or school-based SLP experience is strongly desired
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Familiarity with IEP processes and relevant documentation
- Ability to effectively serve a diverse range of elementary and/or secondary students
Role Responsibilities:
- Conduct evaluations and deliver evidence-based speech and language therapy
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student progress
- Develop, implement, and monitor IEPs
- Maintain accurate records and complete required documentation in a timely manner
- Provide direct therapy services in both individual and small group settings
- Offer consultative support and strategies to classroom staff
