Enjoy a structured schedule, with elementary duty hours from 8:15 am to 3:45 pm and secondary hours from 7:30 am to 3:00 pm, providing a healthy work-life balance. You'll have up to 55 student contacts each week, allowing you to build strong relationships and track meaningful progress.
Desired Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Valid state SLP license or eligibility for licensure
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred
- Prior experience in school-based SLP roles is desirable, though strong new graduates are encouraged to apply
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Ability to manage a diverse caseload and tailor interventions to individual student needs
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders in a school-based setting
- Develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and implement evidence-based therapy techniques
- Collaborate with classroom teachers, special education staff, and families to support student success
- Monitor progress, maintain compliance with documentation, and participate in IEP meetings when required
- Foster a positive and inclusive learning atmosphere for all students
