Desired Experience & Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology required
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) strongly preferred
- Valid SLP state licensure in Indiana (or eligibility)
- Experience in K-8 or preschool settings working with diverse caseloads
- Comfortable with collaboration and flexible schedules
- SLPA supervision experience is a plus, though not required
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct speech-language therapy to students ranging from preschool through middle school, with caseloads varying between 70 and 100 students
- Conduct thorough assessments and develop individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Collaborate closely with teachers, support staff, and families
- Track progress, maintain documentation, and adjust therapy in alignment with student needs and goals
- Potential to oversee and coordinate with Speech-Language Assistants (SLA) as eligible
- Participate in regular team meetings and IEP reviews
Two dynamic placement options are available:
- Work with developmental preschoolers through 1st grade in a supportive elementary environment
- Or, serve multiple school sites, fostering growth in students from 2nd to 8th grade, including intermediate and middle school populations
