Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Active SLP-CCC certification required
- Valid state licensure to practice as an SLP
- Previous experience working with preschool or early childhood populations is highly valued
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to adapt therapy techniques to young children in diverse settings
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech and language therapy services to students in Pre-K (ages 3–5) at community sites
- Manage a caseload of 10–15 students, tailoring interventions to meet individual education plans (IEPs)
- Collaborate closely with educators, families, and other related service professionals
- Conduct screenings, evaluations, and develop treatment plans appropriate for young learners
- Monitor and report on student progress, maintaining clear documentation in compliance with school policies
- Provide recommendations and support for teachers and caregivers to facilitate carryover of skills
