Key Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Active SLP-CCC certification required
  • Valid state licensure to practice as an SLP
  • Previous experience working with preschool or early childhood populations is highly valued
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to adapt therapy techniques to young children in diverse settings

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Deliver speech and language therapy services to students in Pre-K (ages 3–5) at community sites
  • Manage a caseload of 10–15 students, tailoring interventions to meet individual education plans (IEPs)
  • Collaborate closely with educators, families, and other related service professionals
  • Conduct screenings, evaluations, and develop treatment plans appropriate for young learners
  • Monitor and report on student progress, maintaining clear documentation in compliance with school policies
  • Provide recommendations and support for teachers and caregivers to facilitate carryover of skills
