Speech Language Pathologist in Metairie, LA

Step into a dynamic onsite opportunity supporting students at the elementary level this fall. A full-time position is available for a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist to cover a maternity leave from mid-September through the end of November. Required Skills & Experience:
- Valid state licensure or eligibility for licensure in Speech-Language Pathology
- CCC-SLP credentials (or open to strong Clinical Fellowship applicants)
- Previous school-based SLP experience or practicum preferred
- Strong communication and documentation skills
- Ability to work onsite and coordinate with school staff
- Comfortable managing an elementary caseload
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech-language screenings, evaluations, and diagnostics
- Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs)
- Document session notes, progress reports, and comply with regulatory requirements
- Collaborate with teachers, special education teams, and families to support student progress
- Support students in both individual and group settings
- Maintain timely and accurate records in a school setting
