What you bring:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Active Louisiana licensure (or eligibility)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred; open to Clinical Fellows (CF)
- School-based experience or strong pediatric clinical background
- Familiarity with IEP development, implementation, and progress monitoring
- Excellent interpersonal skills to collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Commitment to working onsite throughout the assignment
Your responsibilities will include:
- Conducting evaluations and screenings to determine student eligibility and needs
- Developing, implementing, and updating individualized education programs (IEPs)
- Delivering direct and consultative speech-language therapy services
- Maintaining timely and accurate case notes, documentation, and compliance with district/state regulations
- Consulting regularly with teachers, staff, and families regarding student progress
- Participating in multidisciplinary team meetings and professional development as needed
