Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Active state licensure (or eligibility) as a Speech-Language Pathologist in Arizona
- Accepting Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates with supervision provided
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred
- Experience working with school-age children or pediatric populations recommended
- Strong communication, organization, and teamwork skills
Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and diagnose speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders in students ages 3 to 14
- Manage a caseload of approximately 50-60 students, tailoring therapy and interventions to meet each individual’s needs
- Develop and implement IEPs in compliance with federal and state requirements
- Conduct individual and group therapy sessions, targeting goals in both classroom and dedicated therapy settings
- Collaborate closely with teachers, counselors, and families to promote student success
- Maintain detailed and timely documentation, including progress reports and data collection
- Engage in professional development and participate in school-based meetings
